The Tax Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia (UJP), in close cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, has introduced a project that marks a significant milestone in the digitalization of their tax system. <\/p><p><strong>E-invoice Implementation Timeline<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"814\"><li data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"739\"><p data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"739\">January 1, 2026 &#8211; start of the pilot phase with selected companies.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"814\"><p data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"814\">Q3 2026 &#8211; e-invoices become mandatory for all taxpayers.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"983\">Companies will have access to free applications and the option of API integration with their own systems, enabling fast, secure, and standardized invoice issuance.<\/p><p><strong>Benefits for businesses and the state<\/strong><\/p><p>With the introduction of e-invoices, companies will be relieved of unnecessary administration:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1341\"><li data-start=\"1099\" data-end=\"1167\"><p data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1167\">elimination of printing, sending, and archiving paper documents,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1201\"><p data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1201\">greater control over business operations,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1252\"><p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1252\">secure invoice issuance with digital signatures,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1253\" data-end=\"1341\"><p data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1341\">process automation, including QR code-based posting and automatic payment orders.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1343\" data-end=\"1505\">For the government, the system will bring greater transparency, the ability to cross-check data, and more effective prevention of tax evasion and the grey economy.<\/p><p><strong>bizBox ready for legislative changes<\/strong><\/p><p>The digitalization of accounting and tax processes has been a global trend in recent years.
